Join Yeefah Thurman, Somatic Transformation Life Coach and Racial Healing Practitioner, for a Racial Healing circle on the National Day of Racial Healing.

Are you longing to connect with others in a safe environment to talk about the impact of racism and the need for racial healing? Come together with community members in a safe environment to affirm the inherent value of all people, cultivate a culture of belonging, and deepen our understanding of the differences we face racially and ethnically.

We will hold a racial healing circle to foster dialogue to shed light on the racism, white privilege, oppression, and bias, suffered by multiple groups experiencing marginalization in our community today, and to understand the value of creating solidarity dividends that benefit us all.

We will hold a Racial Healing Circle to acknowledge the native ancestral lands we occupy, Native American Heritage Day to be celebrated on November 24, 2023, and to share the history of marginalization experienced by Native Americans and Alaska Natives, as well as learn about their perspectives and traditions.

We held a Circle on Indigenous People’s Day to acknowledge the ancestral lands we were on, and to discuss marginalization, indigenous perspective, and traditions. We closed with a list, created by attendees, identifying the different groups who continue to be marginalized today.
