Buffalo, New York is the third poorest city and the sixth most segregated in America. As part of the full body of work of Buffalo’s Racial Equity Roundtable, the young men of Breaking Barriers exemplify Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation by creating a unified voice that advocates for racial equity, social justice and policy change. The Youth Leadership Council challenges the practices and systems that hold back men of color and catalyzes change through the power of co-created healing spaces, connection and trust-building.
