I am the great, great, great granddaughter of freed slaves from the Waugh Plantation, in Culpepper, Virginia; my maternal grandfather was in the last regiment of the Buffalo Soldiers, West Point, NY and my grandmother was a formally trained dancer at the Cotton Club. My life is woven with strong threads of a resilient and strong ancestry. I am JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) Warrior; I have dedicated my life to building bridges and bringing down the walls that divide us via Ubuntu - the ancient spirituality of humanities oneness!
